Statement

I have organized a number of walking-based and neighborhood-based projects that explore the ways of discovering place. One example is Beers Made By Walking, I invite brewers onto nature walks, we identify edible and medicinal plants and make new beers with the flora from the trail. The beers are then presented at a special beer tapping and we drink in the landscape. I have worked with over 30 breweries over the last three years and, through the program, have raised money for environmental organizations in the areas where I work.
