Through using the process of walking as art I intend to explore the idea of creating both space and imagery to portray my experiences.
By looking not only at the walk its self but also the surrounding environment and natural elements as a whole, i’m creating an interactive body of work designed to engage the viewer through both encapsulating them visually but also through their own imagination.
All work I produce is a direct result of the experience and knowledge that I gain from individual walks and expeditions. The walks can also take the form of a group walk where the act of simple conversation and conversion becomes an important element of the work its self.
The medium of a piece of work depends entirely on what method I feel best portrays the experience of the initial walk. For example my work typically falls into four categories, these being drawings, photography and video, and site specific installations.
