Statement

I'm an urban researcher and poet - produced collection 'Reclamations' (thamesis, forthcoming 2016) from reccies of the Olympic zone and marshlands of the Lower Lea and oral histories and piloted 'poem and living history' walks with urban researcher activists who provide commentary, while I enact poems at the sites which inspired them in the Olympic Park; Hackney Wick; Leyton and Hackney Marshes, Stratford City, Three Mills Island, a poetry equivalent of site-specific art - and new kind of 'verbatim' poetry scoring the voices of inhabitants and users of the area of different generations, migrant origin, occupation, recreation.
