I am an interdisciplinary artist creating participatory events, performances and long term projects that invite people into an active and enquiring relationship with each other and the land. developing new methodologies and designing projects to facilitate cross-sector working, dialogue, thinking and action; to engage broad publics in key scientific, ecological and social issues and to catalyse systemic change. Fruit Routes at Loughborough University includes an evolving series of BacktoBack walks in collaboration with other artists, ecologists, poets and other specialists (this project now in its 5th year); Earthwalking was a recent two day choreographed walking journey along the South Devon coast with 33 participants from a range of backgrounds, created in collaboration with Prof. Tim Lenton, Chair of Climate Change, Earth System science, University of Exeter. Earthwalking shared different ways of knowing and experiencing the earth, offering different perspectives on land, sea and change. Field Sensing is a extreme slow walking practice that I faciliate with groups and one-to-one. Recent Field Sensing events have taken place at University of Exeter, Streatham Campus, Dark Mountain Festival and Sharpham House, Devon
