I am a process-based artist living in Leytonstone. I focus on how we relate to water environments, taking my inspiration from natural textures and experiences. I explore the element of usefulness in my work by trying to understand our daily lives, our local surroundings and how we can affect the change, for better or for worse. I have been investigating how art and science can work together in interdisciplinary collaborations with London Wildlife Trust, Hydrocitizenship, Thames21, and Dr Richard Bater.
There is an important process and material based component in my work, underpinned by using photography and sound notes, all of which are later reinterpreted into the outdoor and indoor installations or sculptures in steel, paper, brambles and found objects.
