Geert Vermeire is a Belgian, Brazil and Greece based, curator and poet, team member of the media walking platforms noTours.org and CGeomap.eu, coordinator of Made of Walking and co-coordinator of the global Sound Walk Sunday. His collaborative practices with sound and locative media are departing from the social and the ethical involvement of cultural and ecological action, together with (sound) artists and activists among anthropologists, musicologists, engineers and multimedia artists.
